Okay I Love my five minutes of fame as much as the next guy! So here it is. The Big skinny! First thing. This concert ticket was my Christmas gift from a beloved female friend who I have known since 2011. So of course this is a biased review by two fans of Queensryche now! She knows the badass in bad ass music!! Because of me all these years now. Second thing in 2020. Here we are people. Ain’t it sweet to be alive in 2020? At the House of Blues in Houston, Texas. Okay, well I have been a fan of the Ryche, pronounced RIKE, since I discovered them on Texas F.M. Radio. The song, “Queen of the Ryche”. From the E.P. by Queensryche. A Rare Gemstone! And they, With Our dear Uncle, Geoff Tate, the high end boss opera voice, leading US fans to the Ryche, where we are strong. This gem of Texas Radio release was way back to the fall of 1983 and leading us, their Ryche into 1984, I believe to be true. You will never know about this Goldmine. Because KISS FM in San Antonio is dead now from their past glory days. And so is the real disc jockey, Joe Anthony, the “God father”. When I say disc I mean vinyl L.P.s. You see boys and girls. Here is the thing about Old School radio stations. They aren’t around anymore. And neither is this obscure music on vinyl, unless you meet and know a guy like me. So you can hold it in your hands and say Ahhh, like I did when I first bought it. They are out there on eBa, by the way. Third thing. I waited to become an honorary Ryche fan club member, until I joined up with the U.S. Navy in 1987 as we began our long conflict with Iraq in the Gulf War. Befitting I know. Going to war and all and being a card carrying Ryche fan club member. Well there you have it in a nutshell. Five stars goes out to the Ryche. Their fans. John Five opening. I know! It surprised us too! The House of Blues in Houston, Texas. And of course Ticketmaster. You guys need to add an area here for digital photos. People would like to see my photo of their stage set. The one with the stage backdrop, combining the name Queensryche and 5, with a skull. Hell yeah! Bad Ass!
